AVBOB is looking for an experienced individual to manage the KwaGuqa Life office in Mpumalanga.
The successful candidate will manage a team of insurance sales representatives, drive performance and help ensure that business objectives and sales targets are achieved.

Responsibilities
The District Manager will be responsible for:
- Recruiting high-quality representatives in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensuring appointed representatives receive adequate training.
- Managing a team of insurance representatives effectively.
- Ensuring set insurance sales targets are achieved.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with FAIS, FICA, LTIA and other relevant legislation.
- Managing risk.
- Developing and expanding markets.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12.
- A suitable industry-entry qualification meeting the requirements of the Financial Services Board.
- Compliance with FAIS legislation for registration as a Fit and Proper individual.
- The applicable FAIS qualification/credit requirements based on when the applicant entered the industry:
- 2004–2007: 30 credits on NQF Level 4 obtained by 31 December 2009.
- 2008–2009: 30 or 60 credits on NQF Level 4 obtained by 31 December 2011, or a full FAIS-recognised qualification obtained by 31 December 2013.
- 2010 onwards: Full FAIS-recognised qualification.
- Clear ITC.
- Clear criminal record.
- RE5 certificate.
- RE1 certificate would be an advantage.
- A driver's licence, own reliable transport and a cellphone.
- Proven success in marketing Life Assurance for at least three years.
