What the role involves
- Leading and managing the finance function across poultry and agricultural operations.
- Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Managing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Monitoring production costs, feed costs, flock performance and operational efficiency.
- Overseeing stock, biological assets, fixed assets, debtors, creditors, provisions and cash flow.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory, tax, VAT and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining strong financial controls and governance.
- Leading, mentoring and developing the finance team.
What you will need
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification - essential.
- 5 to 10 years' relevant financial management experience.
- Experience in poultry production or a similar animal-related environment.
- Strong management accounting, costing, budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- BAAN or Infor LN experience would be advantageous.
