About the opportunity
AVBOB is inviting suitably qualified unemployed graduates to apply for its Forensics Internship Programme.
The successful intern will gain practical exposure to forensic investigations and fraud-prevention processes, including identifying, analysing and investigating incidents involving fraud, misconduct and non-compliance.
The intern will also support the Forensics team with administrative and investigative activities.
Knowledge and skills
The successful candidate will assist with:
- Forensic investigations relating to fraud, corruption, theft and misconduct.
- Preliminary research and gathering information required for investigations.
- Reviewing documents, records and data to identify irregularities and anomalies.
- Compiling investigation reports and case files.
- Maintaining accurate records of investigations and evidence.
- Supporting fraud-prevention and awareness initiatives.
- Monitoring compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Participating in interviews, fact-finding exercises and evidence collection under supervision.
- General administrative duties within the Forensics Department.
- Training sessions and developmental activities.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be an unemployed graduate aged 18–35.
- Have a Degree or National Diploma in one of the following:
- Forensic Accounting
- Forensic Investigation
- Law (LLB)
- Internal Auditing
- Accounting
- No previous formal work experience is required.
