Curro DigiED Victory Park is looking for an isiZulu FAL and Social Sciences Teacher (FET Phase) to join the team from January 2027.
Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver lessons.
• Prepare and adjust term plans around examinations, assessments and school activities.
• Use differentiated learning approaches.
• Conduct baseline assessments.
• Make recommendations regarding subject choices, teaching methods, remedial work and catch-up programmes.
• Manage classroom setup and discipline.
• Manage assessment rosters.
• Communicate with learners and parents.
• Manage formal and continuous assessments.
• Manage homework.
• Moderate assessments.
• Prepare revision.
• Supervise assessments.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and outings.
• Provide tutoring and extra lessons.
Requirements
• BEd and/or PGCE in FET Phase.
• Honours degree in the relevant subject is advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years' FET teaching experience.
• Knowledge of CAPS.
• Facilitation skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Report-writing skills.
• Good communication.
• Organisational and planning skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• SACE registered.
• Clear criminal record.
