Curro Heritage House is looking for a Mathematics Literacy Teacher (FET Phase) to join the team from January 2027.
Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver lessons.
• Prepare and adjust term plans.
• Consider exams, assessments and school activities.
• Prepare differentiated learning materials.
• Manage classroom setup and discipline.
• Communicate with learners and parents.
• Manage assessment rosters.
• Conduct formal and continuous assessments.
• Manage homework.
• Moderate assessments.
• Prepare revision.
• Supervise assessments.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and outings.
• Provide tutoring and extra lessons.
Requirements from the source
• BEd and/or PGCE in Senior Phase.
• Honours degree in the relevant subject is advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years' Senior Phase experience.
• Knowledge of the IEB curriculum.
• Facilitation skills.
• Problem-solving skills.

• Communication, organisation and planning skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
