What the role involves
- Inspecting furniture at different stages of production and before dispatch.
- Spotting defects, inconsistencies and deviations from specifications.
- Checking that materials and workmanship meet company and client quality standards.
- Recording, reporting and following up on quality problems with the production team.
- Helping to implement and maintain quality control procedures.
- Supporting continuous improvement in the production process.
What you will need
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Previous quality control experience would be an advantage.
- Experience in furniture manufacturing would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
- Own reliable transport.
