Never pay money to get a job

A legitimate employer will never ask you to pay a fee to apply for a job, to be hired, for a "registration", for training, or for a "certificate". If anyone asks you to pay, stop and report it.

Warning signs of a scam

• The "employer" contacts you out of nowhere and offers you a job without an interview.

• You are asked to pay any amount of money for anything.

• The application link looks suspicious or is not an official company page.

• You are asked for your ID number, bank details or passwords before you are hired.

• The offer is too good to be true.

• The contact uses a free email address and avoids giving a real office address.
